Why This Role Matters:
You are the architect of our persuasion. From the first ad a customer sees to the "Order Confirmed" email they receive, your words define their journey. You don’t just "write content"; you write intent. You understand the nuance between a high-conversion ad hook and a high-value Pinterest caption.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Direct Response Ad Copy: Craft high-converting hooks, headlines, and body copy for Meta, TikTok, and Google Ads that drive clicks and sales.
- Retention & Lifecycle Marketing: Write end-to-end email and WhatsApp flows (Welcome, Abandoned Cart, Post-Purchase, Win-Back, etc.) designed to improve retention and conversions.
- Channel-Specific Content: Create optimized copy for Pinterest descriptions, YouTube Shorts scripts, landing pages, and SEO-friendly product descriptions tailored to each platform’s audience and intent.
- PR & Brand Outreach: Develop sharp, compelling, non-spammy PR pitches to help our brands get featured in relevant publications and communities.
- A/B Testing & Optimization: Continuously test and refine headlines, hooks, CTAs, and messaging based on performance data. You’re curious about why Version B outperformed Version A, and how to scale those learnings.
- Conversion-Focused Communication: Balance creativity with performance, ensuring every piece of copy is written to engage, persuade, and convert.
Who You Are:
- E-commerce/D2C Experience: You have 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience writing for D2C or e-commerce brands.
- Strong Copywriting Skills: Proven expertise in copywriting, scriptwriting, and crafting persuasive, engaging content across multiple formats and channels.
- Channel-Fluid Writer: You understand platform nuances, a WhatsApp message should feel personal and conversational, while a PR pitch should feel polished and newsworthy.
- Marketing-Oriented Thinker: You understand core marketing principles, consumer psychology, and sales triggers relevant to paid advertising and retention campaigns.
- Creative & Analytical: You combine creativity with data-driven thinking and can adapt messaging based on campaign performance.
- Independent & Reliable: Comfortable working remotely, managing deadlines, and taking ownership of deliverables with minimal supervision.
- Platform Familiarity: Experience or familiarity with advertising platforms like Meta, and Google is a strong advantage.
