Position Overview
Lead and oversee a portfolio of weekly-stay apartment communities across the Phoenix, AZ area. This role combines strategic property management with hands-on operational oversight, specializing in the unique demands of weekly rental properties.
Key Responsibilities
Portfolio Leadership & Team Development
- Drive operational excellence across multiple weekly-stay properties while building and mentoring high-performing site teams
- Create and execute property-specific strategies to optimize occupancy, revenue, and resident satisfaction
- Develop and manage annual operating budgets, analyzing performance metrics and implementing improvements
- Conduct regular property audits to ensure compliance with company standards and local regulations
Operational Management
- Oversee weekly leasing operations, including resident screening, move-in/out procedures, and payment collections
- Monitor and analyze market conditions to maintain competitive pricing and occupancy rates
- Ensure properties maintain exceptional physical conditions through preventive maintenance programs
- Manage vendor relationships and approve service contracts for repairs and improvements
- Implement and optimize technology solutions across properties, including Entrata software
Compliance & Risk Management
- Maintain Arizona Real Estate License and Property Manager Permit
- Ensure strict adherence to Fair Housing laws, OSHA requirements, and local ordinances
- Oversee weekly property inspections and maintenance protocols
- Monitor and manage property security measures specific to weekly-stay communities
Financial Performance
- Track and analyze property performance metrics
- Prepare and present monthly financial reports
- Implement revenue optimization strategies
- Manage operating expenses within budget constraints
Qualifications
Required Experience
- 5+ years of progressive multifamily property management experience
- Proven track record managing weekly-stay or short-term rental properties
- Supervisory experience required
- Strong financial acumen and budget management experience
- Experience with Entrata property management software
- Valid Arizona Real Estate License (or ability to obtain)

Education
- High school diploma required
- Property management certifications preferred
- Must obtain Real Estate and Property Management Licenses within 6 months of hire
Physical Requirements
- Ability to travel regularly between properties across the Phoenix area
- Capability to conduct thorough property inspections
