Position Description
Primary Responsibilities
- Exceptional communication skill
- Demonstrate strong expertise in Power Query for data extraction, transformation and loading from multiple source systems.
- Utilize advanced Excel capabilities to build dynamic array formulas, complex calculations and multi-sheet operational models.
- Design, develop and maintain robust, scalable Excel-based solutions to support business operations and decision-making.
- Collaborate directly with SMEs, project sponsors, senior leadership and internal/external clients to gather requirements, assess technical feasibility and define project scope and timelines — operating independently without a traditional Business Analyst.
- Prepare structured project outlines detailing scope, milestones, assumptions, and delivery timelines.
- Track development lifecycle activities including builds, user testing, bug fixes, and enhancements using Agile methodologies (Epics, Features, and User Stories) within Azure DevOps.
- Act as a trusted advisor to business users by reviewing their Excel models, optimizing logic, improving performance, and enhancing robustness.
- Provide ongoing support for deployed MVP applications, including urgent bug resolution and batching of enhancement requests.
Secondary / Preferred Skills
- Working knowledge of VBA and Power Pivot to support legacy tools and specific automation requirements.
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps for work tracking and release management.
