Job Description
The Job involves working with a highly talented team of Flight Controls engineers, who are working together to make the Avionics of the future. You will be integral in creating system solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. The Job involves design, development of highly complex control systems on an integrated platform.
Responsibilities
This position requires significant experience in the Embedded Engineering discipline. The responsibilities, skills and duties for this role include
- The candidate should have good understanding of avionics products, process, tools and methodologies and interface with the customer and other stakeholders for the program execution.
- The candidate should have good understanding on Flight Control System Product Architecture, Design and Development.
- Aware of Fly by Wire System and SW architectures.
- Experience in developing Systems/Software Requirements from Equipment Level Requirements
- Hands-on experience in Model Based Development and C/C++ programming language.
- Good knowledge in Avionics Bus protocols like A429, CAN, RS422, Ethernet
- Identifying and debugging issues at the system level and good understanding of aircraft systems and interfaces.
- Good troubleshooting skills to identify and fix issues arising from Applications/Flight testing/V&V.
- Active participation and contribution in driving sub systems/systems integration. Ability to co-ordinate with diverse set of teams.
- Highly proficient and have hands on experience in the Embedded Development.
- Good understanding of System and Software Product Development Lifecycles.
- Strong adherence to technical process, participate in technical reviews and drive actions to closure.
- Deliver/support technical white papers/Patent/ and product related innovations.
- Excellent focus on execution and drive accountability culture within the team
- Candidate should be able to work in collaborative and integrated working environment across global sites
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Electronics, Electrical, Computer Science or Information Technology
- 6 to 10 years of Work experience on Aerospace systems. Knowledge of Flight control systems is added advantage.
Additional Qualifications
- Experienced with Flight controls Architecture and certification.
- Knowledge and practical use of the tools used in avionics development and verification
- Knowledge and practical use of ARP 4754A, DO178B/ARP4761/
- Hands-on experience with Configuration Management tools like CC/CQ, Bitbucket
- Knowledge of Python, MATLAB, LabVIEW
- Knowledge in Avionics Product certification
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong personal leadership abilities and abilities to handle multiple activities/priorities effectively
- Action oriented, results driven, self-starter/learner
- Influential with peers and demonstrate critical thinking skill
