JD – ADMISSION OFFICER

Role Overview:
The Admission Officer will be responsible for managing the admissions process, leading a team of admission counsellors, and ensuring effective student engagement to achieve enrollment targets. The role requires strong communication, leadership, and a passion for guiding students in their academic journey.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Management
• Lead and supervise a team of admission counsellors
• Monitor performance, conversions, and daily activities
• Provide training, mentoring, and regular feedback
Admissions & Conversions
• Handle escalations from prospective students and parents
• Drive conversions through effective counselling strategies
• Ensure consistent follow-ups and lead closures
Process Management
• Oversee the complete admissions lifecycle
• Maintain accurate data and reports
• Ensure adherence to institutional processes
Target Achievement
• Achieve and exceed admission targets
• Track KPIs and generate performance reports
Required Skills & Competencies:
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
• Passion for student engagement and career guidance
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree
• 3 – 8 years of experience in admissions / education sector (mandatory)
• Prior experience in managing admission counsellors or similar roles
• Experience in education institutions, colleges, universities, or EdTech is highly preferred
