Role Overview
The Admissions Manager will be responsible for generating and converting prospective leads into enrolled students for Tara Upskilling programs. This role is ideal for individuals with strong sales, counselling, or admissions backgrounds who are comfortable working on a performance-based commission model.
You will guide prospective learners through the decision-making process, explain program benefits, and ensure successful enrolments.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Conversion & Enrolments
· Convert qualified leads into enrolled students for Tara Upskilling courses.
· Conduct consultative counselling sessions with prospective students via phone, video calls, or messaging.
· Understand candidate goals and recommend appropriate programs.
Sales Pipeline Management
· Maintain and manage a pipeline of prospective learners.
· Follow up with leads consistently to move them toward enrolment.
· Track conversions and maintain lead status.
Student Guidance
· Explain program structure, curriculum, outcomes, and career benefits.
· Address questions related to course content, schedules, pricing, and career impact.
· Help prospects make informed enrolment decisions.
Market Outreach
- Identify and engage potential learner segments such as:
- Students
- Early career professionals
- Career switchers
- Leverage personal networks, communities, and digital channels to generate leads.
Reporting
- Maintain records of interactions and enrolments.
- Share weekly updates on lead status and conversions.
Eligibility / Requirements
Experience
- 1–5 years’ experience in:
o Education admissions
o EdTech sales
o Student counselling
o Inside sales/program advisory
Skills
· Strong communication and persuasion skills
· Ability to build trust with prospective learners
· Sales mindset with consultative approach
· Ability to work independently and meet targets
· Familiarity with CRM tools is a plus
