Wellington College International Pune (WCI Pune) formally opened in September 2023. Role Description
We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Admissions Manager to manage the full admissions cycle from initial inquiry to enrolment. The role involves developing and executing recruitment strategies, delivering exceptional service to prospective families, and ensuring accurate and timely data management. Key responsibilities include handling daily admissions administration, conducting school tours, counselling students on programmes, coordinating assessments and interviews, and organising admissions-related events such as Open Days and Education Fairs.
The successful candidate will maintain detailed student databases, prepare presentations for events, manage student insurance processes, and provide support to the Head of Admissions. This position requires strong communication skills, diligent follow-up, excellent organisational abilities, and the flexibility to work extended hours and weekends when required.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with prospective families
- Data management and organizational skills
- Proficiency in customer service and the ability to build relationships
- Attention to detail, multitasking abilities, and a commitment to excellent service delivery
- Experience in admissions, administration, or related fields is an advantage
- Familiarity with educational curriculums like IGCSE or IBDP is a plus
- Proficiency in MS Office tools and admissions software
- University degree or equivalent qualifications in a related field
