Role Description
This is an on-site, full-time role for an Admissions Counselor, based in Chennai. The Admissions Counselor will be responsible for guiding prospective students and their families through the admissions process. This includes providing accurate information about programs, assisting with application and enrollment procedures, conducting consultations or interviews with prospective students, and maintaining excellent customer service standards. The Admissions Counselor will also work to achieve enrollment targets by nurturing leads and building relationships with potential students.
Qualifications
- Strong Interpersonal Communication and general Communication skills to engage effectively with students and families
- Customer Service experience to foster positive relationships and assist prospective students throughout the application process
- Sales proficiency to achieve enrollment objectives by promoting programs and services
- Understanding of the Education sector to provide informed guidance and support
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field
- Proficiency in regional languages is an advantage
- Previous experience in admissions, counseling, or a related field is a plus
