Role Description
The International Admissions Counselor will serve as a key representative of MIT-WPU, guiding prospective students through the admissions process. Responsibilities include providing detailed programme information, assessing applicants’ suitability, and assisting with admission-related events and initiatives. The role requires active communication with potential students, ensuring a seamless enrollment experience. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Pune.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal communication and relationship-building skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Customer service skills to assist prospective students effectively
- Familiarity with educational programmes and the admissions process in HEIs
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other related tools
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline; a master's degree in management is advantageous
- Previous experience in a similar role or relevant industry is preferred
