Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Bhimavaram for an Admissions Counselor. The Admissions Counselor will assist prospective students in understanding their academic and professional options, help them navigate the admissions process, and provide career counseling guidance. Daily tasks include engaging with students, evaluating their goals, recommending appropriate programs, and maintaining relationships with institutions. The role also involves ensuring a streamlined admissions experience while fostering a welcoming and supportive environment for students.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal communication and general communication skills to effectively interact with students, families, and educational institutions.
- Customer service skills with the ability to empathize with students, address their needs, and provide exceptional guidance.
- Sales skills to promote programs and encourage prospective students to choose the most suitable opportunities.
- Knowledge of the education sector and an understanding of academic and career pathways to provide accurate and relevant advice.
- Proficiency in building positive relationships, and fluency in relevant regional languages would be beneficial.
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
