Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Admissions Counselor role based in Noida. The Admissions Counselor will engage with prospective students via phone, email, and in-person meetings to understand their academic background, interests, and career goals, and guide them toward suitable MBA programs and institutions. They will conduct structured counseling sessions, explain exam and admission processes, and support students with college shortlisting, application planning, and timelines. The role includes conducting follow-ups, maintaining accurate records in CRM or similar systems, and collaborating with internal teams to meet enrollment and outreach targets. The Admissions Counselor will also contribute to seminars, workshops, and promotional events, and stay updated on management entrance exams, B-School offerings, and industry trends to provide current and accurate advice.
Qualifications
- Strong Interpersonal Communication and general Communication skills to counsel students and interact with parents and institutional partners.
- Customer Service and client-handling abilities to provide a supportive, responsive, and student-centric counseling experience.
- Sales and conversion skills to manage inquiry pipelines, conduct follow-ups, and achieve admission and enrollment targets ethically.
- Background or interest in Education, especially higher education or test-prep, to understand academic pathways and admission processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (Management, Education, or related fields preferred) and prior experience in counseling, admissions, or EdTech is an advantage.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications and CRM tools, along with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Fluency in English and Hindi, with the ability to explain complex information clearly and confidently.
