Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Admissions Counselor based in Mohali, India. The Admissions Counselor will provide end-to-end assistance to students, including counseling sessions, identifying academic and career goals, and guiding them through the university application and admission process. The role involves regular communication with students and their families, offering expert support on course selection, application forms, and visa requirements. Counselors will also collaborate with international university representatives, maintain accurate records, and regularly achieve goals related to student admissions and enrollment.
Qualifications
- Strong Interpersonal and Communication skills
- Customer Service and Sales skills to effectively engage and guide prospective students
- Knowledge in the field of Education, particularly with global higher education systems
- Ability to counsel students with clarity, patience, and empathy
- Organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Proficiency in using digital tools and CRM platforms is an advantage
- A Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, or a related field is preferred
