Role Description This full-time, on-site Admissions Counselor role is based in Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar. The Admissions Counselor will guide prospective students and families through the admissions process, including initial inquiries, counseling sessions, application support, and follow-ups. Daily responsibilities include conducting informational sessions, explaining program offerings, addressing questions, and helping candidates choose suitable academic paths. The role also involves maintaining detailed records of leads and admissions, coordinating with internal teams, and meeting enrollment targets through proactive outreach and relationship-building. The counselor will support marketing and outreach initiatives, participate in events, and ensure a positive, professional experience for every prospective student.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Interpersonal Communication and Communication skills to engage effectively with students, families, and internal teams.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to provide responsive, empathetic, and solution-oriented support throughout the admissions process.
- Candidates should possess Sales skills to convert inquiries into enrollments, manage leads, and work toward defined admission targets.
- Candidates should possess Education-related knowledge or experience to explain academic programs clearly and guide students in making informed choices.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include strong organizational and time-management skills, proficiency with basic computer applications and CRM tools, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- A bachelor’s degree in any discipline, prior experience in counseling, admissions, or education services, and fluency in English and local languages are preferred.
