Role Overview
We are seeking a driven and consultative Admissions Counsellors to join our Revenue team. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for prospective parents and students, guiding them through a structured admissions journey while representing 21K School with credibility and clarity.
This position is ideal for individuals who see sales not merely as transactions, but as responsibility — to understand aspirations, address concerns, and help families make informed educational decisions. The role demands discipline, ownership, and a strong focus on outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Engagement & Qualification
- Manage inbound and outbound enquiries via calls, emails, and virtual platforms.
- Qualify prospective parents and students by understanding their educational goals and expectations.
- Understand parent/student goals and qualify leads effectively & guide them through each stage of the admission journey with structured follow-ups.
- Consultative Counselling & Product Positioning
- Clearly articulate curriculum structure, accreditations, teaching methodology, and fee models.
- Conduct structured virtual counselling sessions, webinars, and open house interactions.
- Recommend suitable academic solutions aligned to parent/student needs.
- Conversion & Performance Delivery
- Use CRM tools to track leads, monitor pipeline movement, and maximize conversion rates.
- Maintain disciplined follow-up mechanisms to ensure timely decision-making.
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly enrolment targets.
- Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Coordinate with the marketing team to provide feedback on lead quality.
- Maintain accurate records of all interactions and conversions.
- Stay informed about competitor offerings and evolving education trends.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field.
- 0–4 years of experience in sales, admissions, or academic counselling (EdTech preferred).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and virtual meeting platforms.
- High ownership mindset with target orientation.
- Ability to balance empathy with performance accountability.
Selection Criteria
- Professional Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field.
- Certifications in Sales, CRM tools, or digital platforms are an added advantage but not mandatory.
- Experience:
- 0–4 years of relevant experience in sales, admissions, or academic counselling.
- Prior experience in EdTech or education-related sales is desirable.
- Experience working in target-driven environments preferred.
