Role Description The Admissions Counselor is a full-time, on-site role based in Noida. This role is responsible for guiding prospective learners through the admissions process, from initial inquiry to enrollment decision. Day-to-day tasks include responding to queries via phone, email, and in person, conducting informational sessions and campus tours, and providing clear, accurate information about AVTF’s programs and learning pathways. The Admissions Counselor will assess applicants’ interests and goals, advise them on suitable programs, and maintain detailed records in admissions systems. The role also involves collaborating with academic and marketing teams to support outreach initiatives, track admission metrics, and contribute to continuous improvement of the admissions experience.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Interpersonal Communication and general Communication skills to effectively engage with prospective learners and stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to provide responsive, supportive, and clear assistance throughout the admissions process.
- Candidates should possess Sales skills to confidently present AVTF’s programs, address concerns, and encourage appropriate enrollment decisions.
- Candidates should possess Education-related experience or understanding to discuss curricula, learning outcomes, and academic pathways with clarity.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include organizational and time-management skills, proficiency with CRM or admissions software, the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced startup environment, and a bachelor’s degree in education, counseling, business, or a related field.
