Position: Admissions Advisor, Chanakya University
Purpose:
An admissions advisor is responsible for calling all the leads generated by the admissions team.
Responsibilities:
- Call prospective students and parents, handle all their queries related to admissions and convert them to admission.
- Collect and record and all relevant information required for admissions.
- Keep accurate and detailed records of calls made and answered results achieved.
- Achieve all specified targets.
- Maintain confidentiality of the leads assigned.
- Updating the Record systematically.
- Capturing the details of leads and updating them.
- Communicate very effectively with the parent and gather all possible information about the parent’s and student’s needs for admission.
- Able to question effectively and listen patiently to garner all the details.
- Ensure that the customer’s calls are transferred to experts in case of such a need.
- Ensure to call back if required, takes messages and sends mails within the committed time frame.
- Ensure to pacify an irate parent, be polite but firm with an annoying parent, help a poor speaker communicate his/her requirements well and assuage the feelings of an unsatisfied parent.
- Aware of school admission procedures & process.
- Doing follow-ups for Appointments for Seminars.
- Coordinating with the BTL and other teams for conducting seminars /GDPI/Entrance exam
- Collecting the Information of students who were part of the Seminars.
- Participation in the EXPO events.
- Handling the students and Parents face to face and providing them with the necessary information about the University and counseling them for the admission, and collecting the Applications/Data.
- Assisting in PGCET seats allotted Students for admission process
Skills Required:
- Knowledge of academic and operational activities in a school /collages/ education center
- Data Entry Skills with proficiency in MS Excel, Word and Power Point
- Excellent Communication
- Pleasing Personality
- Willing to accept and work towards targets
- Good telephone etiquettes
- Strong Convincing skills
Qualifications Required
- Any Graduate
- Minimum 2+ years in Tele-calling under University/School / college ie Education domain

- Reports to Director - Admissions
