Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Admissions Officer role based in the Mohali district. The Admissions Officer will counsel prospective learners on international education options, entry requirements, and program selection. Responsibilities include managing inquiries, conducting consultations (in person, by phone, and online), and guiding applicants through the admissions lifecycle from initial interest to enrollment. The role involves reviewing academic documents, assessing eligibility for international programs, and coordinating with partner institutions for offers and confirmations. The Admissions Officer will maintain accurate records in internal systems, follow up with applicants and families, and provide timely, professional customer service. Additional tasks include participating in information sessions, supporting marketing and outreach activities, and collaborating with team members to meet enrollment targets while maintaining high service standards.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust with learners and families.
- Experience or knowledge in international admissions and higher education pathways.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills for counseling, documentation, and follow-up.
- Customer service skills with a focus on responsiveness, empathy, and problem resolution.
- Background or interest in education, student advising, or academic counseling.
- Bachelor’s degree in education, counseling, business, or a related field preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment with attention to detail.
- Proficiency with office software and basic CRM or student management systems.
- Familiarity with international education systems, visas, and admission requirements is an advantage.
- Comfort working with diverse populations and commitment to inclusive, non-discriminatory practices.
