Job Role: Admission Officer
Job Location: Kannur, Kerala
We are looking for a dedicated and communicative Admission Officer to join our team in Kannur. In this role you will be serving as the primary point of contact for students and families as they navigate their educational journey. Responsibilities:
1. Student & Parent Relations
- Engagement: Act as the first point of contact for prospective students and parents across the Kannur region through walk-ins, phone calls, and digital communication.
- Advisory: Deliver clear, compelling, and accurate information regarding our diverse academic programs, eligibility criteria, and enrollment steps.
2. Application & Documentation Management
- Verification: Conduct thorough reviews of admission forms to ensure all credentials and paperwork are complete and authentic.
- Organization: Systematically manage academic transcripts, certificates, and supporting files to maintain a high standard of data integrity.
3. End-to-End Admission Support
- Mentorship: Guide applicants through every phase of the enrollment funnel, proactively resolving hurdles and clarifying doubts to ensure a seamless onboarding experience.
4. Outreach & Event Execution
- Local Representation: Represent the institution at education fairs and recruitment drives across North Malabar.
- On-Campus Events: Assist in the planning and execution of campus tours, open houses, and orientation programs in Kannur.
5. Data Management & Reporting
- CRM Administration: Log all interactions and track lead progress using our internal management systems.
- Analytics: Generate routine reports on inquiry trends and enrollment metrics to help the team meet institutional goals.
6. Collaborative Operations
- Cross-Functional Teamwork: Partner with the marketing team for local outreach and liaise with academic departments to provide specialized program insights.
- Quality Improvement: Collect feedback from new students to refine our admission strategies and enhance the applicant journey.
7. Compliance & Standards
- Regulatory Alignment: Ensure all processes adhere to institutional policies and Kerala’s educational regulations.
Skills Required:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills (Proficiency in Malayalam and English is essential).
- A welcoming personality with a "student-first" mindset.
- Familiarity with CRM software or basic office productivity tools (Excel/Google Sheets).
