Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Bengaluru for an Academic Counselor. The Academic Counselor will work closely with students to provide personalized counseling and guidance, helping them navigate academic challenges and pursue their educational and career aspirations. Core responsibilities include conducting one-on-one sessions, assisting with career and academic planning, providing resources and support, and maintaining detailed records of student progress. The counselor will also collaborate with educators and administrators to ensure students’ needs are met effectively.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Student Counseling and Career Counseling to support individual academic and career goals.
- Strong Communication skills essential for engaging with students, educators, and stakeholders.
- Experience in Academic Advising to guide educational decision-making and planning.
- Background in Education, providing a solid foundation for understanding academic environments and challenges.
- Empathy, problem-solving abilities, and a passion for student success.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology, Education, or related field preferred.
