Work Schedule
- 6 days a week (Monday to Saturday)
- 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- Additional working on holidays during peak admission season
Role Purpose
The Admission Counsellor is responsible for driving student enrolments by managing enquiries, counselling prospective students and parents, and nurturing leads through the admissions funnel.
This role serves as the
first point of contact for prospective students and parents, guiding them through the decision-making process while ensuring adherence to institutional admission procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Management & Scheduling
- Respond promptly to all admission enquiries across channels
- Schedule campus visits and counselling sessions with prospective parents/students
- Counselling & Campus Experience
- Conduct in-depth counselling sessions (scheduled & walk-ins)
- Understand parent/student needs and recommend suitable programs
- Deliver campus tours and presentations effectively
- Admissions Process Compliance
- Ensure strict adherence to the admission process and documentation
- Guide applicants through each stage of the admission journey
- Conversion & Revenue Focus
- Drive end-to-end conversion from enquiry to enrolment
- Achieve assigned admission targets
- Maintain a strong conversion ratio while ensuring quality counselling
- Lead Nurturing
- Engage leads through consistent follow-ups via calls, emails, and messages
- Build trust and maintain relationships throughout the decision cycle
- CRM & Reporting
- Maintain accurate and updated records in CRM systems
- Track lead pipeline and generate periodic reports
- Coordinate with internal teams and leadership through updates
- Market & Competition Awareness
- Stay updated on competitor institutions and their offerings
- Communicate insights to improve positioning and strategy
- Outreach & Partnerships
- Build relationships with local schools, preschools, and communities
- Participate in outreach programs, events, and admission drives
- Generate referrals and expand lead sources
- Parent & Student Engagement
- Understand parent concerns, expectations, and decision drivers
- Address objections with empathy and clarity
- Feedback & Insights
- Provide actionable feedback to internal teams (Marketing, Academics, Admin)
- Share insights from ground interactions to improve processes
