Role Description / Role Overview
The Admission Counselor will guide students in academic planning, course/program selection, and career pathways. This includes admissions support, personalized counseling, progress monitoring, and ensuring students’ academic well-being.
The role requires close collaboration with faculty and administrative teams to create a supportive and student-centered learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide academic and career counseling to students.
- Assist students with admissions guidance and academic program/course selection.
- Conduct personalized counseling sessions and develop academic plans.
- Track student performance and offer timely support to overcome academic challenges.
- Conduct workshops/seminars on academic planning and career readiness.
- Collaborate with faculty and administrative departments to support student success.
Qualifications & Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in academic counseling, educational advising, or related roles.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in student guidance, academic advising, and career counseling.
- Experience in higher education is preferred.
- A Master's degree in Education, Psychology, or a related field.
