Job Title: Senior Academic Counsellor – Strategic Enrolment

Job Summary
The Senior Academic Counsellor is the face of our organization for prospective students. You are not a "tele-caller"; you are a Career Strategist. Your primary goal is to manage the end-to-end conversion process—from the moment a lead enters our system to their final enrolment. You will use your deep understanding of Digital Growth and HRM trends to guide candidates toward the right career path, ensuring we hit our monthly enrolment targets through high-quality, consultative selling.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Conversion & Consultative Counselling
- Expert Advisory: Conduct in-depth counselling sessions (phone, video, and in-person) with leads generated through digital channels.
- Need Analysis: Assess a student’s background, career gaps, and aspirations to recommend the most suitable HRM or Digital programs.
- The "Closer" Role: Take full ownership of the sales funnel, moving prospects from "Interest" to "Paid Enrolment" through persistent and persuasive follow-ups.
- Strategic Pipeline Management
- CRM Mastery: Maintain 100% data integrity in our CRM (Zoho/HubSpot). Update lead stages, set reminders, and ensure no prospect is left unattended.
- Target Ownership: Be accountable for individual and team-level monthly/quarterly admission targets.
- Pipeline Analysis: Identify why certain leads aren't converting and provide feedback to the marketing team to improve lead quality.
- Campus & Institutional Outreach
- TPO Liaison: Support institutional partnerships by coordinating with Training & Placement Officers (TPOs) in Raipur to organize webinars and seminars.
- On-Ground Presence: Represent the brand at educational fairs, college seminars, and corporate events to generate direct walk-in enquiries.
- Post-Enrolment Support
- Onboarding: Assist students with the admission documentation and fee payment processes.
- Student Success: Act as the initial point of contact for student queries until the start of the batch, ensuring a high "Joining Ratio."
## Required Skills & Experience
- The "Talker": Exceptional communication skills in English and Hindi. You must be able to command authority and build trust over a phone call.
- Sales Acumen: Proven track record of hitting sales targets in a high-pressure EdTech or education environment.
- Domain Knowledge: A basic understanding of HRM or Digital Marketing careers (so you can speak intelligently to students about their future).
- Persistence: A "never-give-up" attitude toward follow-ups and lead nurturing.
Preferred Qualifications
- Education: MBA or a Bachelor’s degree with a strong interest in career coaching.
- Local Edge: Familiarity with the Raipur student mindset and the local educational landscape.
- Tech Savvy: Comfortable using CRM tools and scheduling software.
