Role Description The Admission Counselor is a full-time, on-site role based in Noida, responsible for guiding prospective students through their higher education decision-making process. In this role, the counselor will interact with students and families, understand their goals, and explain how Compare Degree’s platform and partnered institutions can support their aspirations. Daily activities include responding to inquiries, conducting counseling sessions, providing information on programs and admission requirements, and maintaining accurate records of interactions. The counselor will collaborate with internal teams to improve counseling processes, support outreach initiatives, and contribute feedback on student needs and trends. This role involves meeting conversion and engagement targets while maintaining high standards of ethical, student-centric guidance.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Interpersonal Communication and Communication skills to effectively counsel and support prospective students.
- Candidates should possess customer-facing skills in Customer Service and Sales to manage inquiries, follow-ups, and conversions professionally.
- Candidates should possess knowledge and interest in Education to understand academic pathways, admission processes, and program structures.
- Candidates should possess organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple student cases, maintain records, and meet deadlines.
- Relevant experience in admissions counseling, academic advising, or student services is beneficial.
- A bachelor’s degree in any discipline; degrees in Education, Counseling, Psychology, or Business are an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Noida, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and adapt in a fast-paced edtech environment.
