About the Role
Mentric Training & Consulting is looking for an experienced Admission Counsellor to drive student enrollments for the Industrial Automation program offered in partnership with Rajdhani College, Trivandrum. This is a work-from-home role focused on converting inbound leads into admissions through effective counselling and follow-up.
Key Responsibilities
Counsel prospective students and parents on the Industrial Automation course — curriculum, career outcomes, and admission process.
Handle and follow up on leads assigned via CRM (calls, WhatsApp, email) to drive conversions.
Achieve monthly admission targets for the Rajdhani College, Trivandrum program.
Explain fee structure, EMI/financing options, and documentation requirements clearly to prospects.
Maintain accurate and updated records of all lead interactions in the CRM.
Coordinate with the central admissions and academic team for enrollment closures and documentation.
Provide daily/weekly reporting on lead status, conversions, and pipeline health to the reporting manager.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of experience in sales/counselling for a technical or professional course (engineering, diploma, certification programs, etc.).
Fluency in Malayalam and English (spoken and written) is mandatory.
Must have a personal laptop, stable internet connection, and a smartphone.
Comfortable working from home with minimal supervision.
Strong communication, persuasion, and relationship-building skills.
