Role Description The Admission Counsellor role is a full-time, on-site position based in Raipur. The Admission Counsellor will interact with prospective students and families, provide detailed information on courses, colleges, and universities, and guide them through career and academic choices after 10th, 12th, and graduation. Responsibilities include conducting counseling sessions, handling inquiries via phone, email, and in-person meetings, explaining admission processes, and supporting students with application forms and documentation. The role also involves maintaining accurate student records, coordinating with partner institutions, following up with leads, and meeting admission and conversion targets. The Admission Counsellor will collaborate with the team to organize seminars, workshops, and outreach activities, while ensuring a professional, ethical, and student-focused counseling experience.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong interpersonal communication and general communication skills to counsel students and interact with families effectively.
- Candidates should possess customer service skills to handle inquiries, resolve concerns, and provide a positive counseling experience.
- Candidates should possess sales skills to convert leads, achieve admission targets, and promote suitable programs ethically.
- Candidates should possess an understanding of the education domain, including UG, PG, and professional courses, competitive exams, and study abroad pathways.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in any discipline (Education, Counseling, Psychology, or Management preferred), proficiency in English and Hindi, basic computer and MS Office skills, and prior experience in counseling, admissions, or education services.
