Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Admission Counsellor role based in Gurugram. The Admission Counsellor will guide prospective students and working professionals through the admissions process, from initial inquiry to enrollment. Daily responsibilities include responding to inquiries via phone, email, and in person; providing detailed information about programs and courses; and helping applicants choose options aligned with their goals. The role involves conducting counseling sessions, following up with leads, maintaining accurate records in CRM or similar tools, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure a smooth admission experience. The Admission Counsellor will also support outreach activities, participate in events or webinars, and contribute to meeting enrollment targets in a professional and student-centric manner.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Interpersonal Communication skills to engage effectively with prospective students, families, and institutional stakeholders.
- Customer Service and Sales skills to build trust, handle inquiries professionally, and convert leads into successful admissions.
- Understanding of the Education sector and enthusiasm for guiding learners in selecting suitable courses and programs.
- Ability to work with basic computer applications, CRM or lead management tools, and online communication platforms.
- Organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple inquiries and follow-ups efficiently.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; coursework or experience in education, counseling, or business is an advantage.
- Prior experience in admissions, counseling, or academic support roles is preferred but not mandatory.
