Job Description – Admission Counsellor
Location: Meerut Centre
University: Graphic Era (Deemed to be University), Dehradun
Graphic Era (Deemed to be University), Dehradun, ranked 48 amongst the Top 100 Universities in India in the NIRF 2025 Rankings and accredited with NAAC Grade A+, is inviting applications from motivated and dynamic professionals for the position of Admission Counsellor at its Meerut Centre.
Key Responsibilities
• Counsel prospective students and parents regarding academic programs, admission procedures, and career opportunities offered by the university.
• Provide accurate and timely information about courses, eligibility criteria, and the admission process.
• Guide students through the application and admission process and address their queries effectively.
• Follow up with prospective students through calls, emails, and meetings to support enrolment.
• Maintain records of student interactions and admission data.
• Participate in admission campaigns, education fairs, and outreach activities as required.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth and efficient admission process.
Eligibility and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in admissions, counselling, or student engagement is desirable.
• Freshers with strong communication and interpersonal skills are also encouraged to apply.
Required Skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong interpersonal and counselling abilities.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with students and parents.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
