Position Overview
The Admission Counsellor is responsible for recruiting qualified students and facilitating the admissions process. This role involves promoting the school, conducting campus tours, meeting with prospective students and parents, evaluating applications, and maintaining records of prospective students. The Admission Counsellor plays a vital role in building the school's enrolment while ensuring a positive experience for all inquiries.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruit prospective students through various channels including school visits, educational fairs, and community events
- Conduct guided campus tours and school orientation sessions for prospective students and parents
- Schedule and conduct individual meetings with prospective students and parents to provide information about academics, facilities, and school culture
- Receive, review, and process admissions applications and supporting documents
- Coordinate with other departments for entrance examinations, interviews, and verifications
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all applicants using the admissions database
- Communicate admission decisions, fee details, and enrollment procedures to applicants
- Develop and implement promotional materials and marketing strategies to increase school visibility
- Attend education conferences, exhibitions, and networking events
- Monitor and report on admissions trends, metrics, and performance to management
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline
- 2-3 years of experience in admissions, student recruitment, or education sector
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and admissions management software
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Gujarati
