Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Admission Counsellor role based at Delhi Public School, Sushant Lok, Gurugram.
The Admission Counsellor will be responsible for interacting with prospective parents and students, providing detailed information about the school’s curriculum, facilities, admission procedures, policies, and overall value proposition.
Key responsibilities include:
- Handling walk-in, phone, and email inquiries from prospective parents.
- Conducting campus tours and presenting the school’s offerings effectively.
- Guiding families through the application, assessment, interview, and enrolment process.
- Coordinating admission tests, interviews, and follow-ups with academic and administrative teams.
- Maintaining accurate records of inquiries, applications, conversions, and admissions.
- Supporting admission events, open houses, orientation sessions, and outreach activities.
- Contributing to admission-related communication materials and parent engagement initiatives.
- Ensuring a smooth, professional, and positive admission experience for all families.
- Upholding the school’s values and standards in every interaction.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in admissions, counselling, parent relations, academic counselling, or a similar role, preferably in a reputed school or educational institution.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with parents, students, and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to respond to inquiries professionally and support enrolment goals.
- Good understanding of the education sector, especially school admissions and parent counselling.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic data management.
- Ability to maintain accurate admission records, reports, and follow-up trackers.
- Fluency in English is essential.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple inquiries and tasks simultaneously.
