Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Admission Counsellor located in Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar. The Admission Counsellor will be responsible for guiding prospective students in choosing the right academic programs and helping them through the admission process. Key responsibilities include counseling students and their families, reviewing applications, maintaining records, and representing the university in various promotional events. The role also involves addressing queries, providing detailed information about courses, and ensuring a smooth enrollment experience for all applicants.
Qualifications
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Ability to provide insightful academic and career counseling to prospective students
- Proficiency in handling inquiries and guiding students through admission procedures
- Organizational skills with a focus on maintaining accurate and detailed applicant records
- Experience in participating in and contributing to promotional activities and outreach programs
- Adaptability to work in a dynamic and diverse environment
- Bachelor's degree in any field; a background in education or counseling is preferred
- Prior experience in academic counseling, admissions, or a related field is a plus
