Role Description The Admission Counselling role is a full-time, on-site position based in Gurugram. The professional in this role will counsel prospective learners, understand their career goals, and recommend appropriate courses or programs that align with their aspirations. Daily responsibilities include handling inquiries via phone, email, and in person, conducting detailed needs assessments, explaining program features and benefits, and guiding applicants through the admission process. The role involves maintaining accurate records in CRM or admissions systems, coordinating with academic and operations teams, and following up with leads to ensure timely conversions. This position also includes participating in outreach activities, supporting student recruitment initiatives, and providing high-quality service to foster long-term relationships with learners.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication skills, including clear verbal and written interaction with diverse professional audiences.
- Customer Service skills to provide empathetic, solution-oriented support and build trust with prospective learners.
- Sales skills to manage inquiries, convert leads, and meet enrollment targets in an ethical and consultative manner.
- Student Recruiting and Education-related skills to understand learning pathways, program structures, and career-oriented outcomes.
- Ability to work on-site in Gurugram and manage multiple inquiries and follow-ups efficiently.
- Comfort with using CRM tools, spreadsheets, and basic office software for data entry and reporting.
- Prior experience in counseling, admissions, training, or education services is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; qualifications in education, psychology, or business are an advantage.
