Job Summary
The Automotive Service Advisor will support the Admin Manager in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of the center. The role involves a combination of administrative coordination, basic accounting, inventory management, and customer interaction within an automotive service environment.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of relevant experience as a Service Advisor
- Prior experience in the automotive or motor vehicle industry highly preferred
- Basic understanding of automotive systems and service processes
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency in using systems for data entry, scheduling, and record management
- Strong problem-solving and customer handling skills
Key Responsibilities
1. Administrative Support
- Maintain records, documentation, and filing systems
- Assist in daily administrative and operational activities
- Ensure smooth coordination across departments
2. Accounts & Documentation
- Handle basic accounting entries and record maintenance
- Maintain invoices, service records, and warranty documentation
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies
3. Inventory Management
- Manage stock entries, stock issuance, and inventory tracking
- Monitor stock levels and maintain accurate inventory records
4. Customer Interaction
- Attend to customers, understand service requirements, and provide relevant information
- Communicate service timelines, costs, and updates clearly
- Handle customer queries and complaints professionally
5. Technical Coordination
- Assist in preliminary assessment of vehicle issues (basic level)
- Coordinate with technicians for updates on service and repairs
6. Workflow & Scheduling
- Create and manage Repair Orders (ROs)
- Schedule appointments and allocate tasks to technicians
- Ensure timely completion of assigned work
7. Sales & Quality Support
- Recommend additional services where applicable
- Ensure quality checks before vehicle delivery
