Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Facilities Manager role based in Hyderabad. The Facilities Manager will oversee daily operations of the premises, including building maintenance, housekeeping, security, and front-office services to ensure a safe, clean, and efficient learning environment. The role involves coordinating with vendors and contractors, managing facility-related budgets, and monitoring service quality and compliance with health, safety, and statutory regulations. The Facilities Manager will plan preventive maintenance schedules, handle repairs, and manage assets and inventories such as furniture, equipment, and utilities. The position will also collaborate with academic and administrative teams to support classroom readiness, event setups, space utilization, and continuous improvement of facility-related processes.
Qualifications
- Strong facilities operations skills, including building maintenance, housekeeping oversight, security coordination, and vendor management.
- Experience in health, safety, and statutory compliance, including risk assessment, emergency preparedness, and incident reporting.
- Proficiency in budgeting, cost control, and basic procurement processes for facility-related services and materials.
- Ability to manage space planning, asset tracking, and inventory management for furniture, equipment, and classroom infrastructure.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to work closely with academic and support teams.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on operational efficiency.
- Comfort using basic office software and facility management tools or dashboards for tracking tasks, issues, and service tickets.
- Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; relevant certifications in facility or safety management are an advantage.
- Prior experience managing facilities in an education, corporate, or institutional environment is preferred.
