Role Description The Administrative Intern will support daily office operations and coordination activities in a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai. Responsibilities include handling routine administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, managing correspondence, maintaining records, and organizing documents. The intern will assist with customer inquiries, support internal and external communication, and help prepare basic reports and presentations. The role may include assisting with finance-related tasks such as expense tracking, invoice processing, and data entry, under supervision. The intern will collaborate with team members to ensure smooth office functioning and provide general support for projects related to China–India business activities.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact clearly and professionally with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills and a basic understanding of Finance to support data handling, expense tracking, and simple financial documentation.
- Candidates should possess Administrative Assistance capabilities, including organizing files, scheduling, and managing office documentation efficiently.
- Attention to detail, time management, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in standard office software (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, email tools).
- Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team setting in Chennai and demonstrate a professional, inclusive attitude.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or diploma in Business, Commerce, Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Interest in international business, especially China–India trade and collaboration, will be an advantage.
