Company Description Electronics & Computer Software Export Promotion Council (ESC) is India’s apex trade promotion organization, dedicated to advancing the country’s electronics, telecom, and IT exports worldwide. Established in 1989, ESC has supported export growth from US$ 200 million to US$ 126 billion in 2017–18 and now represents over 2,000 electronics and software exporters. The Council focuses on connecting Indian SMEs with global buyers and facilitating partnerships, joint ventures, and technology tie-ups. ESC also assists foreign IT and electronics companies seeking reliable business partners in India. In addition, ESC supports member participation in global trade shows, conferences, and acts as a key link between the Government and industry on policy issues.
Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Administrative Assistant role based in Delhi, India. The Administrative Assistant will provide day-to-day support to the office and leadership team, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and organizing travel and event logistics. Responsibilities include handling incoming calls and emails, maintaining professional and courteous communication with members and external stakeholders, and managing physical and digital records. The role will involve preparing and formatting documents, reports, and presentations, assisting with data entry and basic office correspondence, and coordinating small meetings or workshops. The Administrative Assistant will also support general office operations such as supplies management, filing, and liaising with internal departments to ensure smooth administrative workflows.
Qualifications
- Strong Administrative Assistance and Clerical Skills, including scheduling, records management, and document preparation.
- Executive Administrative Assistance capabilities, such as calendar management, meeting coordination, and support for senior leadership.
- Excellent Communication and Phone Etiquette for professional interaction with members, partners, and stakeholders.
- Proficiency with office productivity tools (e.g., MS Office Suite, email and calendar applications) and basic data entry skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, maintain attention to detail, and manage time effectively in a busy office environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to working with colleagues at different levels.
- Prior experience in an administrative or office support role, preferably in a trade body, association, or similar organization.
- Minimum educational qualification: graduate degree in any discipline; business or administration-related studies are an advantage.
