Role Description
The Administrative Accountant is a full-time, on-site role based in Pune. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting as well as administrative operations.
Accounting responsibilities include bookkeeping, processing invoices, maintaining ledgers, assisting with the preparation and review of financial statements, handling data entry for financial records, reconcile accounts and track expenses and revenues.
Administrative responsibilities include coordinating and communicating with internal teams and external vendors, maintaining organised task lists and documentation, calendar and inbox management, travel and event planning, facility management, contribution to process improvements and upholding the organisation’s focus on excellence and commitment.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Accounting and Bookkeeping, with experience in managing day-to-day financial records and ledgers.
- Proficiency with accounting software and spreadsheets (e.g., Excel or Google Sheets) and prior experience in using basic finance tools, especially Tally.
- Ability to prepare, review, and interpret Financial Statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
- Hands-on experience with Invoicing processes, vendor and customer billing, and accounts receivable/payable tracking.
- Well-developed Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, support budgeting, and provide insights for decision-making.
- Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple tasks with accuracy and timeliness.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
