Role Description The Administration Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based at Shah Satnam Ji Speciality Hospitals in Sirsa. The role involves managing day-to-day administrative tasks such as handling incoming calls, greeting visitors, managing front-desk operations, and responding to general inquiries. Responsibilities include scheduling appointments, maintaining records and files, organizing documents, and supporting hospital staff with routine clerical work. The Administration Assistant will assist with coordinating meetings, preparing basic reports, updating logs or databases, and ensuring accurate documentation. The role also requires collaborating with medical and non-medical teams to support smooth hospital operations and a professional, welcoming environment for patients and visitors.
Qualifications
- Strong administrative and clerical skills, including Administrative Assistance and Clerical Skills, to manage documentation, filing, and daily office tasks.
- Professional communication abilities, including clear written and verbal Communication and effective Phone Etiquette, for interacting with patients, visitors, and staff.
- Experience or aptitude in Executive Administrative Assistance to support supervisors with scheduling, meeting coordination, and basic reporting.
- Proficiency with basic office software (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, email) and comfort working with hospital forms and records systems.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, demonstrate professionalism, and work respectfully with diverse patients and colleagues.
- Prior experience in a hospital, clinic, or healthcare office is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; additional training in office administration or healthcare administration is a plus.
