Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role based in Bengaluru for an Admin cum Counsellor reporting to founder director. The role involves managing day-to-day administrative tasks and ensuring the smooth operation of preschool activities. Responsibilities include welcoming parents and prospective clients, coordinating admissions, maintaining student records, organizing events, and ensuring compliance with institutional policies. You will also provide counseling to parents, addressing their inquiries, showcasing the school’s vision, and matching the needs of young learners with suitable learning solutions.
Qualifications
- Organizational and Administrative Skills: Ability to manage day-to-day operations, maintain records, schedule activities, and ensure compliance with school policies.
- Enquiries Handling: Attend walk-in, phone and online enquiries, follow-ups until admission conformation and maintaining conversation tracker physically and in app.
- Records and collection: Ensure proper documentation and maintaining the student records, fee tracking, collection of fee, updating and maintaining the fee collection record via app and physical record.
- Communication and Counseling Skills: Excellent communication and counselling skills, proficiency in interacting with diverse individuals, active listening, and articulating the school’s values effectively.
- Customer Service and Relationship Building Skills: Capability to create a welcoming and supportive environment, address parent queries, and build long-term relationships.
- Proficiency in Computer Skills: Familiarity with word processing, spreadsheets, emails, and digital tools for administrative tasks.
- Problem-Solving and Time Management: Strong multi-tasking abilities and resourcefulness in addressing operational challenges.
- Prior experience in preschool or educational settings is desirable.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
