The responsibilities and qualifications described are for positions at Wendy's International, Inc., company-owned and operated restaurants. A large percentage of Wendy's restaurants are independently owned and operated, franchised Wendy's restaurants. Job descriptions, compensation, benefits, and other employment terms and conditions applicable to positions at independent franchised Wendy's Restaurants will vary and are determined solely by the Franchisee.
Responsibilities
· Trains, monitors, and reinforces food safety procedures
· Ensures food safety procedures are executed according to company policies and health/sanitation regulations
· Works with management team to meet budgeted sales goals
· Manages food, labor, paper costs, and other controllable expenses
· Executes company policies and procedures for the control of cash, property, product, and equipment
· Monitors inventory levels through ordering to ensure product availability
· Manages and maintains safe working conditions
· Manages crew member employees in a manner that maximizes crew retention
· Interviews and recommends crew members for hiring
· Provides proper training for crew members through established systems and follow through to ensure compliance with company standards
· Anticipates and identifies problems and initiates appropriate corrective action
· Maintains fast and accurate service and positive guest relations and ensures products are consistent with company quality standards
Qualifications
· One year of restaurant experience at a minimum
· High school diploma or high school equivalency diploma required
· Management/Supervisory/Mentor experience desired
· Guest-friendly demeanor
· Fluent English-speaking and writing skills
· Able to lift 35 pounds to waist level
· Willing to work a 40 - 50 hour week
· ServSafe Certified
