Bakery Associate

AdeptHR is Hiring a Bakery Associate! About the Role We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Bakery Associate to join our Mixing Department in Sacramento. As a Bakery Associate, you will help produce and package high-quality baked goods including scone dough, cookie dough, muffin batter, cookies, scones, muffins, and bars. Reporting to a Supervisor or Manager, you will work in a fast-paced production kitchen on the mixing lines and support other departments throughout various stages of production — mixing, portioning, baking, and packaging. 📍 Sacramento, CA | 🕒 Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM | 💰 $17.25/hour Key Responsibilities Mix batches of dough and batter according to established recipes Weigh and measure ingredients accurately Move, push, and pull product racks Wash and sanitize production equipment Check product weights for consistency Package, label, and inspect finished goods Monitor conveyors and ensure smooth product flow Maintain cleanliness and organization in the production area Support general housekeeping (sweeping, cleaning, organizing) Follow all food safety and quality procedures Requirements Physical Requirements Reach, bend, and stoop frequently Lift/move 50-pound bags of flour, sugar, and other bulk ingredients Stand for long periods (up to 8 hours per shift) Continual use of manual dexterity and gross motor skills Push/pull up to 40 pounds regularly What We're Looking For Dependable and punctual team player Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment Strong attention to detail and willingness to follow recipes and procedures Commitment to maintaining safety and cleanliness standards Benefits Supportive and collaborative team culture Consistent, steady schedule (Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM) Opportunities for growth within the production and bakery teams
