Role Summary
We are seeking a Validation Engineer with 3–5 years of experience to perform
Software-in-Loop (SiL) validation for system and software requirements for ADAS features.
The role will focus on validating functional performance against defined KPIs using
simulation-based environments such as CARLA or equivalent test frameworks, while
producing clear test evidence to demonstrate compliance.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform Software-in-Loop (SiL) validation for system and software requirements
derived from the defined feature set.
• Validate functional behaviour against KPIs and acceptance criteria to demonstrate
requirement fulfilment.
• Develop and execute test scenarios using CARLA or equivalent simulation and virtual
test environments.
• Generate, review, and maintain test cases, test procedures, and execution logs
aligned with system requirements.
• Produce test evidence and validation reports to support compliance, reviews, and
milestone closures.
• Support traceability between requirements, test cases, results, and KPIs.
• Collaborate closely with System Engineers, Software Developers, and Program Teams
to resolve defects and gaps identified during validation.
• Participate in test reviews, issue triage, and validation readiness assessments.
• Support continuous improvement of validation frameworks, automation, and test
coverage.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering (Computer Science, Electrical,
Electronics, Automotive, or related field).
• 3–5 years of experience in Software validation, SiL testing, or simulation-based
verification.
• Strong experience in test case development, execution, and evidence generation.
• Hands-on experience with CARLA or equivalent simulation tools (e.g., Gazebo,
IPG, dSPACE, MATLAB/Simulink environments).
• Understanding of system and software requirements validation and KPI-based
testing.
• Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, Polarion,
equivalent).
• Good scripting or automation exposure (Python / Bash / test scripts preferred).
• Strong documentation, reporting, and communication skills.
Preferred Experience
• Automotive, ADAS, autonomy, or software-defined vehicle domain exposure.
• Experience aligned with V-Model development lifecycle.
• Exposure to requirements management and traceability concepts (DOORS, Polarion,
or similar).
• Experience in simulated sensor environments or closed-loop testing.
