Job Title: Adaptive Technical Consultant for FP&A Planning module (Part-Time/Contractor)
Job Summary
Expertise in Finance and Accounting Model setup (prior experience of setting up Financial Planning)
We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Workday Adaptive Planning Technical Consultant to assist our finance team with system updates, model optimization, and maintenance on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Adaptive Planning (formerly Adaptive Insights) configuration, formula troubleshooting, and data integration to ensure our planning tool remains accurate, secure, and aligned with current business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
System Upgrades & Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and implement system upgrades, including managing model versioning, formula updates, and structural changes.
Model Optimization: Enhance and optimize existing Adaptive models to improve performance and efficiency.
Data Integration Support: Monitor and maintain data integrations between Adaptive Planning and core systems (ERP, HRIS, etc.).
Troubleshooting & Technical Support: Diagnose and resolve formula errors, reporting issues, and user access/security problems.
Documentation: Maintain updated technical documentation for all system configurations, changes, and integrations.
Required Skills and Experience
Experience: 3-5+ years of direct experience with Workday Adaptive Planning/Adaptive Insights.
Technical Proficiency: Strong expertise in building and maintaining Adaptive Planning components (Active Rules, Attributes, Dimensions, Sheets, and Reports).
Knowledge: Solid understanding of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
Tools: Familiarity with Office Connect for report generation and updating.
Flexibility: Ability to work independently as a part-time consultant or contractor.
Preferred Qualifications
Active Workday Adaptive Planning Certification.
Expertise in Finance and Accounting Model setup (prior experience of setting up Financial Planning)
Experience with SQL programming and API integrations.
