About the role

Responsibilities

  • Market Analysis for Procurement of Services & Goods
  • PR review, identify the requirement and action the same
  • Coordinate with respective technical team for understanding and collecting details related to requirements
  • Consolidation of common requirements following to review of PR
  • Preparation of inquiry / Tender Documents as per inputs from Engineering/Facility/Operation Department and floating the same to the prequalified bidders.
  • Coordination end user for vendor query resolution and response to vendors
  • Comparative preparation rates, terms and conditions
  • Preparing internal costing
  • Preparation of NFA
  • Preparation of LOA/PO after NFA approval
  • Coordination with respective airport Techno Commercial Team.
  • Interaction with Engineering, Estimation, Logistics, Project Management, Quality, Business Development, Human Resources, Finance & Accounts, MAAS, Taxation and Legal for Package Specific requirements
  • MIS

Qualifications

Cost Management: Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive initiatives to reduce procurement expenses. Implement strategies to optimize procurement costs.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth procurement processes and integration with other business functions.

Supplier Management: Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and conduct regular performance reviews. Address and resolve any supplier issues.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Monitor adherence to standards and regulations.

Management Insights: Provide insights and recommendations to senior management on procurement best practices and strategic decisions.

Market Awareness: Stay updated on industry trends and market conditions. Use this knowledge to inform procurement strategies and decisions.

Reporting: Prepare and present reports on procurement performance, cost savings, and other key metrics to senior management.

Digital mindset: Champions a digital mindset within the organization to drive innovation and competitiveness. Keep up with digital and AI advancements to enhance business and maintain competitiveness.

Educational Qualification

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Master's degree

Work Experience

6-10 years of experience in procurement of electrical/mechanical/civil commodities of infrastructure projects. having experience in procuring a wide range of products/services (like MEP, Equipment, IT consumables & Services. Basic understanding of contracting, taxation etc. MIS preparation, experience of working in SAP/ERP system.

Certification: Professional certification in Procurement or Supply Chain Management preferred
