ABOUT KATHA
Katha IGNITE is an AI-powered influencer marketing platform built for hyper-local creator campaigns across India, with deep specialization in South India. We run nano and micro influencer campaigns for brands like ITC, Tata Croma, Flipkart, Jos Alukkas, Malabar Group, Milky Mist, Maruti, and Hero. Our edge is execution at scale: we turn brand briefs into 20 to 200 creator videos in days, not weeks, with regional language fluency built in. We are in a fast scale-up phase.
THE ROLE
You will own pipeline generation, discovery, proposal building, and closure for FMCG, retail, and entertainment deals. You hunt, you pitch, you work with the team and you close. You own your number.
WHAT YOU WILL OWN - PIPELINE GENERATION AND CLOSURE
- Source leads through outreach, LinkedIn, warm introductions, and event networking. You are not waiting for leads to come to you.
- Run structured discovery calls. Identify campaign objective, budget band, decision-maker, timeline, and competing options before sending any proposal.
- Build proposals using sector-matched case studies.
- Maintain CRM hygiene. Update stage, next step, and close date without being chased.
- Hit monthly and quarterly revenue targets aligned with the sales plan.
AGENCY & BRAND RELATIONSHIP
- Identify and sign retained agency partners with active client briefs.
- Build and own a repeatable playbook for agency closures, including commercials and terms.
- Own the brand relationships for every deal you close. You are the POC for campaign setup, pricing questions, and contract issues.
WHO YOU ARE?
- You have 3+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally in ad sales, media sales, influencer marketing, MarTech, or agency sales.
- You have personally closed deals of ₹10 lakh and above, multiple times, with named brands or agencies.
- You can hunt. You are comfortable with cold outreach, LinkedIn prospecting, and building your own pipeline. You do not expect warm leads handed to you.
- You think in terms of repeatable tactics, not heroic one-off wins. You will document what works and what does not.
- You can handle objections tactfully.
- You can remove deal blockers and pass market feedback to the internal team.
BONUS POINTS IF YOU
- You have worked at an influencer marketing platform, creator agency, or media buying agency before.
- You have closed against budgets sitting with marketing teams at FMCG or retail brands.
- You bring an existing book of brand-side or agency-side relationships in your target city.
- You have hands-on familiarity with Zoho or a similar CRM.
