About the role

Job Description

  • Develop and maintain robust web applications and data management solutions using PHP and the Pimcore platform.
  • Leverage the Pimcore Data Management Framework (PIM/MDM/DAM/Commerce) to build efficient and scalable systems.
  • Develop custom data types within Pimcore to meet specific business requirements.
  • Extend and customize Pimcore's core functionalities by overriding predefined classes and methods.
  • Design and implement efficient database schemas using MySQL.
  • Develop dynamic and interactive user interfaces using Twig templating engine and Ext JS framework.
  • Utilize Git for version control and collaborative development.
  • Design and implement GraphQL APIs for efficient data fetching and manipulation.
  • Build and customize workflows within the Pimcore platform to automate business processes.
  • Implement solutions for handling large-size CSV data imports, utilizing Pimcore's Data Hub bundle for efficient processing.
  • Explore and implement generative AI features within Pimcore or related systems to enhance data management and content creation.
  • Integrate Pimcore with other systems and applications using APIs and other integration methods.
  • Write clean, well-documented, and testable code following best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and knowledge sharing.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Pimcore and PHP applications.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in PHP, Pimcore, and related :
  • 3+ years of professional experience in PHP development.
  • Strong hands-on experience with the Pimcore platform.
  • Solid understanding of the Symfony framework.
  • Proficient in database design and development using MySQL.
  • Experience with the Twig templating engine.
  • Familiarity with the Ext JS JavaScript framework.
  • Proficient in using Git for version control.
  • Strong understanding and practical experience with GraphQL.
  • Experience in creating custom data types within Pimcore.
  • Proven ability to override predefined classes and functionalities in Pimcore.
  • Experience in building and customizing workflows within the Pimcore platform.
  • Experience in handling large-size CSV data imports, ideally using Pimcore's Data Hub bundle.
  • Familiarity with implementing generative AI features within Pimcore or related systems is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
