Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Acupuncturist role based at Atmantan Wellness Centre in Mulshi. The Acupuncturist will provide individualized acupuncture treatments, including assessment, diagnosis within the scope of practice, treatment planning, and follow-up sessions. Responsibilities include conducting thorough consultations, maintaining accurate records, monitoring guest progress, and collaborating with doctors, therapists, and wellness consultants to support integrative care plans. The role involves educating guests on acupuncture benefits, safety, and aftercare, adhering to infection control and safety protocols, and participating in wellness programs, workshops, and internal training as needed.
Qualifications
- Recognized qualification, diploma, or degree in Acupuncture or Traditional Chinese Medicine from an accredited institution; valid registration or license as required by local regulations.
- Demonstrated clinical experience providing acupuncture treatments in a wellness centre, hospital, or clinic setting, with strong skills in assessment, treatment planning, and follow-up care.
- Knowledge of holistic health, integrative medicine, and complementary therapies, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary wellness teams.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a guest-centric approach, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to explain procedures and outcomes clearly.
- Strong commitment to safety, hygiene, and ethical practice, including proper needle handling, infection control, and accurate documentation.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays, and maintain professionalism in a luxury hospitality and wellness environment.
- Basic computer skills for maintaining electronic records and reporting; proficiency in local languages and English is an advantage.
- Previous experience in a wellness resort, spa, or health retreat is preferred; additional training in related therapies (e.g., acupressure, cupping, moxibustion) is beneficial.
