Hiring for Indian Insurance client in Mumbai Location .
Job Purpose
We are looking for an aspiring Actuary to join actuarial team, you will be part of a dynamic team of actuaries and assist the company in the managing of the portfolio. This includes product pricing, experience analysis and business planning.
The Job
- 1.Product pricing and data analysis
- Collaborate with internal/ external stakeholders to price and develop products.
- Carry out experience and profitability analysis on various business lines, with particular focus on the Health and Personal Accident portfolio.
- Documentation of the projects and pricing work, preparation of Actuarial reports with insight in actuarial pricing related projects and supporting the Actuarial team in achieving their key
- performance indicators.
- .Maintains awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats, and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company.
- Highlights any potential concerns /risks and proactively shares best risk management practices.
Qualifications
Good exam progress
Working Experience
1. 1+ years in relevant actuarial roles, especially in pricing.
2.Experience of working closely with underwriting, claims and product developers.
Competencies
- Effective communication skills.
- Proficient with statistical analysis and working with large datasets when required.
- Technology proficient (Microsoft Office and VBA).
- High level of integrity, takes accountability of work and good attitude over teamwork.
