About the role

The Director of Account Management will own and lead the strategy, execution, and overall success of our relationships with ActBlue's most strategic clients, focusing on retention, expansion, and deepening engagement. Set the strategic direction for account management by developing the playbook, building and enabling the team, and ensuring alignment with broader organizational goals. Develop and implement strategies that deepen client relationships, drive engagement, and maximize customer lifetime value. Lead a team, ensuring that account plans are developed and deployed to support revenue goals. Regularly update senior leadership on account plan progress, challenges, and opportunities. Define and drive KPIs, success metrics, and benchmarks for account health. Own and improve account management processes, ensuring that workflows, tools, and resources are optimized for efficiency. Work closely across all teams within Customer Experience and cross-functionally including Product, Marketing, and Engineering teams. Foster a high-performance culture of collaboration, inclusivity, and accountability within the team. May support supplementary projects as assigned.
