Role Description
This is a full-time remote role as an ACT Maths Mentor. In this position, you will mentor students to strengthen their understanding of mathematical concepts covered in the ACT curriculum. Daily tasks include planning and conducting live interactive online sessions, assessing student progress, customizing guidance based on each student’s needs, and providing feedback for improvement. You will also be responsible for creating supplementary learning materials and collaborating with the team to continually enhance the learning experience.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of ACT Mathematics content and problem-solving strategies
- Excellent teaching, mentoring, and communication skills
- Ability to create engaging and interactive learning materials
- Experience in online teaching platforms and familiarity with virtual learning tools
- Passion for working with students and helping them achieve their academic goals
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus
- Experience in standardized test preparation (e.g., ACT, SAT) is highly desirable
