Job Title: Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Pressmasters
Department: Executive / Administration

Role Purpose
The CEO is accountable to the Board of Directors for the overall success, sustainability, and growth of the company. This role requires strategic leadership combined with deep operational expertise in folding box board carton manufacturing. The CEO must drive operational excellence, ensure customer retention through quality and reliability, strengthen market presence, and foster a systems- and process-driven culture. As the face of the organization, the CEO will build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and industry stakeholders while positioning the company to capture high-growth opportunities in both local and export markets.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, recommend, and execute long-term strategic plans in collaboration with the Board.
Translate the vision and mission into actionable business objectives.
Identify opportunities for market expansion, product innovation, and investment.
Monitor global and regional carton packaging industry trends, particularly in paper and board, to anticipate and respond to market shifts.
Oversee all operational functions including production, quality control, planning, procurement, and logistics.
Ensure all operations are aligned to meet customer specifications, deadlines, and quality standards to maintain high client retention.
Champion continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen) to boost productivity, reduce waste, and enhance manufacturing efficiency.
Drive the adoption of best-in-class systems, processes, and ERP tools to support scale and operational discipline.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality certifications (including ISO standards).
Lead the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and capital expenditure plans.
Monitor revenue growth, profitability, cost management, and ROI.
Present accurate and timely financial reports to the Board, ensuring transparency and accountability.
Implement prudent risk management and financial planning strategies.
- Sales, Marketing & Customer Retention
Lead the design and execution of high-impact sales and marketing strategies to drive growth.
Personally engage with top clients to reinforce relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.
Develop strategies to retain existing customers through superior service, product quality, and value-added solutions.
Expand market presence locally and in targeted export markets through strategic partnerships and brand positioning.
Recommend and implement the optimal organizational structure for efficiency and growth.
Build a high-performing leadership team and mentor functional heads.
Foster a performance-driven culture grounded in values, accountability, innovation, and teamwork.
Oversee training programs that develop technical expertise in carton manufacturing and leadership skills.
Chair the Health & Safety Committee and ensure workforce well-being.
- Governance, Compliance & Risk Management
Uphold corporate governance principles and ensure internal controls are adhered to.
Identify, monitor, and mitigate operational, financial, and reputational risks.
Maintain oversight of compliance with regulatory, industry, and quality standards.
Oversee ERP utilization and digital process integration.
- Stakeholder Engagement & CSR
Act As The Primary Spokesperson For The Company.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, government bodies, and industry peers.
Lead sustainability and CSR initiatives that strengthen the companys brand and reputation.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Printing Technology, Packaging Technology, or related field.
- MBA or Masters degree preferred.
- in-depth knowledge of paper and board properties, carton manufacturing processes, and packaging industry standards.
- Proficiency with manufacturing systems, ERP platforms, and ISO quality systems.
Experience
- Minimum 10 years in senior leadership roles, with at least 5 years as a CEO, COO, or equivalent in manufacturing.
- Proven track record in folding box board carton manufacturing or closely related packaging sectors.
- Demonstrated success in driving sales growth, operational improvement, and customer retention in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
